Misunderstood - Pitbull Rescue
Many of you are aware of my relationship with Misunderstood. Misunderstood is a non-profit, 501C3 Pit Bull Rescue operation.
Henrico Dog Fighting Investigation Update
Foster homes are in need of some pet supplies. To help out, West End Accounting is acting as a collection center for food and supplies. All donations are tax deductible. The immediate need is for puppy and regular food. Other items needed are:
- Small training treats
- Shampoo
- Puppy pads
- Wire and plastic crates
- Kong toys
- Food and water bowls
Used crates, bowls, beds and toys are accepted. We will take care of cleaning and disinfecting. If you have a crate to donate but it won't fit in your car, we will come to you.

National Pit Bull Awareness Day
National Pit Bull Awareness Day was sponsored by Misunderstood on October 18, 2008 at Deep Run Park in Henrico County. John Goodwin who helped break the Michael Vick case was there to educate owners on dog fighting.
